Shakti Pumps India Ltd. inaugurated ‘Shakti Health Camp’

 

  • Shakti had taken its first initiative & started its own trust. It was innougrated on 2nd Apr on the name of "SEVA- shakti foundation charitable trust"
  • Shakti Health Camp was inaugurated at Nipania, a village in the outskirts of Indore
  • Company intends to keep on organizing such health camps on every first Sunday of the month providing health care access to rural population around Indore city.
  • Company ensures availability expert doctors for health camp who provide free check up and proper treatment to the needy patients.
  • Around 1000 patients were benefitted from the first camp organized on the first Sunday of August 2011

To make awareness in the society about good health and to provide the necessary health facilities, Shakti Pumps India Ltd. organized the first “Shakti Health Camp’ at Malwa Institute of Technology near Nipania on Sunday, August 7, 2011. This camp was inaugurated by Mr. Ankit Patidar, All India Marketing Head, Shakti Pumps India Ltd. In this camp, free medical checkups and treatments were offered to the needy patients. Company had also arranged free transportation facilities for the villagers to attend health camp.

Doctors who extended their services in this camp include Dr. Sumitra Shidhey, Dr. Shailendra Karnavat, Dr. Abhijeet Gupte, Dr. Ajeet Jain and Dr.Nella Waghmare. The team was also joined by Dr. Ritesh Shah, Dr. Biyani, Dr. Gothi, Dr. Seema Mittal and staffs from Bombay Hospital which made the camp a great success.

Shakti Foundation unveils first clinic in Rangvasa:


With an aim to provide health care services to the society, Shakti Foundation Charitable Trust under 'SEVA' has started its first clinic in Rangvasa. The clinic will serve the local resident and provide them free of cost medical services. It was inaugurated on 2nd Apr 2013.

The trust plans to provide free medical services to people of Rangvasa tehsil. Dr Manoj Chaudhary is appointed to examine patients there. This is the first time that locals received the services of a doctor in their area

Under 'Sewa', coordination with major hospitals of Indore will be established so that patients from Rangvasa can be referred. The coordinating hospitals will not charge registration and initial fees. The trust will first focus on health, education and employment respectively.
